After the bell rings our Emerald City teaching artist leads a class to build creative expression, ensemble skills and self-esteem in your students. At the end of the 8, 10 or 12-week session students put on a performance for family and friends. School funded and tuition-based programs available.

After School Enrichment Programs

Treasure Trunk Theatre (for Pre-k thru 1st grade OR 2nd-5th grades) Explore storytelling on many levels with inspiration from our Treasure Trunk of costumes and props! On the page, verbally, and on our feet! Students learn the components of a story, and will be able to identify them by the end of the session. This program introduces lots of ensemble techniques, movement exercises, creativity and imagination skills, communication skills, magic tricks, puppetry and improv. Improv Club (for 2nd-5th grades OR 6th-8th grades) Students will work on improvisation, sketch comedy, slapstick, and more. They'll learn what makes improv scenes click, and how those guys on "Whose Line Is It Anyway" make it look so easy. This is one of our most popular classes! Quick thinking, give and take and playing the action will be the key to success and a lot of fun!
