Seussical Theatre Class! (for Pre-K - 2nd grade)

Students will travel into the magical land of Dr. Seuss and his powerful stories!  Our inspiration for the class will be beloved classics from Dr. Seuss including Cat in The Hat and Green Eggs and Ham.  We will create our own Seuss inspired world, incorporating real and fantastical creatures.  Students will explore character development and participate in acting and storytelling activities that arouse curiosity and stir the imagination. Our games will enhance self-esteem and create a sense of personal well-being and enjoyment.  This class is perfect for both shy and outgoing children!!

Emerald City Theatre, founded in 1996, is Chicago’s largest professional theater for families and was recently called “Chicago’s most innovative theater for families” by the Chicago Sun-Times.
