At Emerald City Theatre we love to have fun! And we know that children who participate in theater have greater self-confidence, improved literacy and math skills and greater problem solving skills. Find out What's Happening at the Theatre School Read our Teacher Bios Summer Camp 2010 and Schedule June 7th-August 27th, 2010 Camps offered for ages 3.5, 5-8 and 7-12 Open enrollment begins January 5 at 10am Summer Saturday Series Summer Camp Rock Classes June 19th – August 14th (no class July 3rd) Come to one Saturday or come to all! Fall Session 2010 Classes and Schedule September 18 - December 16 (no classes November 22-28) Open enrollment begins July 13! Final show on last day of class After School Drama Club At Mount Carmel Fun Facts about the Classes and Camps Final Class Showcase/Demonstration: On the last day of Fall Classes and all Camps, all family and friends are welcome to see the fun activities, songs and dances the students have been learning! Final Theatre School Showcase: For Spring classes, there is a Final Theatre School Showcase held at the Apollo Theatre for family and friends to view the work of each of the classes. Special Days: During the class sessions there are special days for students to explore other skills and creativity that correspond with their class material: Character Day: Students get the opportunity to work with an Emerald City Actor! Costume Day: Students dress up as their favorite character while teachers integrate their costumes into the class. Craft Day: Students use visual skills to create masks, costume pieces, and props that they use in the final showcase. Free Parent Workshop: On the first day of class find out what your child will be learning and how you can contribute at home.	Theatre School Helpful Info Emerald City Theatre School 2933 N. Refunds will be processed if a class is cancelled. No refunds available unless spot can be filled from the waiting list. If spot can be filled a refund less a $50 administrative fee will be given.
