After School Programs and Customized Residencies

Bring the gift of theatre to your school by providing students with classroom opportunities to dive into acting, singing, and dancing during the day or after the bell rings! Let our professionals recommend our most popular class offerings such as Fairy Tale Adventures for Pre-K-1st grade and Let’s Put on a Play! for 2-5th grade. Our weekly programs heavily focus on team building, communication and listening skills, storytelling techniques, and self-esteem.

Special Needs Program

Emerald City is now offering theatre classes for special needs children! Let our experienced staff take our world-class theatre curriculum and apply it a special needs classroom. Our lessons are filled with sensory activities that heighten awareness of self and environment, provide stimulation for imagination and creativity and lots of fun! Classes are structured with many short activities so as to maintain the enthusiasm of classroom participation and increase learning. Interactive Storytelling is a perfect way for to students to increase the use of their body and mind! Emerald City is happy to customize any class lesson to fit your curriculum needs.

Professional Development Workshops for Teachers

Calling all educators! Work with our teaching professionals in a collaborative environment to enhance your classroom skills. Our Teacher workshops focus on exactly how to incorporate dramatic techniques such as improvisation, storytelling, and visualization into your Illinois state curriculum.
