    In honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday and Read Across America Day, Open Books is thrilled to announce Dr. Seuss Day! This one-day-only event will celebrate the work of Dr. Seuss and engage children and families in fun, Seuss-inspired activities in order to create excitement and enthusiasm around reading and writing.     Suggested ages 3+
    Coloring activities, facepainting, readings, cake, and a 20% discount on children’s books

    Introducing NPN's newest initiative...A.C.T. Out with NPN! We are proud to announce a new series of events designed to encourage our littlest Chicago friends to be inspired by Art, Culture, and Theatre. Families will have the unique opportunity to “A.C.T. Out” with NPN as we open the doors to new experiences, opportunities, and city resources. As NPN serves a diverse community of families, we will provide programming across the city that is accessible to parents and their young children.

    Royal Princess and Knight creative drama workshop for children ages 3-5 and their grown-ups!
    10:00 am – 11:00 am: drama workshop
    11:00 am - 12:00 pm: optional time for royal feast (provided by the grown-ups attending)
