In Classroom Workshops
We come to you to complete your students’ experience!
Emerald City Theatre offers pre and post-show workshops to further enrich your students’ experience! These workshops are 45-55 minutes in length and take place in your classroom.
Workshops before you attend the performance:
ECT Teaching Artists lead students in an introduction to theater, the roles of both actor and audience, and the themes and concepts of the show.
Workshops after you attend the performance:
ECT Teaching Artists use interactive activities to reinforce comprehension of the themes and concepts of the play introduced in the pre-show workshop. Students will also explore the actor’s tools to learn that they, too, can tell stories.
Add one or both workshops to your field trip experience!
Reserve one OR both workshops for your class. Price is per classroom and workshop.
